IMPORTANT: This password is only for the Financial Aid Award System. It will NOT be the same password you use for PawPass.
First-Time Login
When you log in to the Financial Aid Portal for the first time:
Username: Your MCC ID number
Password: Create your password using this format:
Example:
Name: John Smith
Birthdate: September 1, 1998
Your password would be:
jS09011998!
You will be required to create a new password. Save your new password somewhere secure. The Financial Aid Office cannot see your password or retrieve it for you.
Having Trouble Logging In?
You will be locked out after 5 unsuccessful login attempts.
If your account is locked, contact the Financial Aid Office to have it unlocked.
Important: Using “Forgot Password” will not unlock a locked account.
Don't Have Access Yet? You must have a current FAFSA on file with Marshalltown Community College before you can access the Financial Aid Portal.
If you haven't completed the FAFSA yet:

Once MCC receives your FAFSA information, we will notify you when your Financial Aid Portal is available.
Please enter your Student ID.
Please enter your Password.
Financial Aid Priority Deadline - MCC will guarantee that all students who have a 2026-27 FAFSA on file and have submitted all completed supporting documents to our office by July 1 will be notified of their award package BEFORE the first day of fall classes. After this priority deadline date, we cannot guarantee when award notices will be completed.
